Rogério Canhoto, a renowned executive with a career linked to Artificial Intelligence (AI), has just joined the Automaise management team as Chief Revenue Officer. With expertise in Business Development, Sales, and Marketing, Rogério Canhoto’s mission will be to drive the growth and international expansion of the Portuguese tech company, which specializes in AI Agents to boost business productivity.

Rogério Canhoto, a renowned executive with a career linked to Artificial Intelligence (AI), has just joined the Automaise management team as Chief Revenue Officer. With expertise in Business Development, Sales, and Marketing, Rogério Canhoto’s mission will be to drive the growth and international expansion of the Portuguese tech company, which specializes in AI Agents to boost business productivity.

With a solid career in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors, Rogério Canhoto brings to Automaise over 20 years dedicated to digital transformation, with a focus on sustainable growth and innovation. His arrival comes at a time of significant growth for Automaise, following a recent funding round that raised €5 million, reinforcing the company’s ambition to expand internationally on the back of the strong results achieved in the Iberian market with its platform and AI solutions.

Since its founding in 2017 by Ernesto Pedrosa and Carlos Oliveira, Automaise has experienced steady growth, winning over major clients such as Sonae MC, Novobanco, AdvanceCare, and Via Verde. The company develops AI agents that significantly enhance the efficiency and productivity of business operations and improve customer service. The addition of Rogério Canhoto aligns with Automaise’s strategy to scale its platform and solutions into new markets.
About Rogério Canhoto
Aged 54, he holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, an MBA in Management, Strategy, and Business Development, and a Master’s in Business Sciences with a specialization in Digital Marketing. Throughout his career, he has held top positions in national and multinational companies such as PT/Altice, Grupo Havas, Deloitte Consulting, Grupo Impresa, and PHC Software, where he led initiatives that redefined business strategies and fostered market competitiveness.
He is a guest lecturer at ISCTE and Católica Porto Business School and serves as executive director of two postgraduate programs at ISCTE, including the innovative postgrad in Artificial Intelligence Applied to Management. As a frequent speaker at national and international events, he addresses topics such as business innovation, technological disruption, and digital transformation, and is co-author of the books “b-Mercator – Blended Marketing” and “AI_Novator – Marketing in the Era of Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability”.
